Another review this week -- Pesto Chicken Pasta. Quite possibly one of the best desserts and most complex meals overall.

Pesto is a paste made from basil, garlic, grated cheese, pine nuts, and olive oil. Pesto pasta is a classic Italian dish, but the MRE version does not hold a candle to the real thing. Nor would one really expect it to, being made with so many preservatives and overcooked.

I want quit sure what pesto was, but my brain wanted or to have olives. I think I was thinking of tampenade.
