So on day 2 of the show, I decided to try something I had not had before. Menu 15 Mexican Chicken stew. Gundog says this one is one of his favorites, so I figured it had to be halfway decent...
contents included Entree, Mixed fruit, Cheddar Cheese Pretzels, cheese spread, Crackers, Reeses Pieces, and the accessory pack including coffee and matches.
I forgot to take a pic of the cheese and crackers, but crackers were crisp and whole, still airtight, cheese spread was still solid, no separation. Good to go.
Cheddar cheese pretzels, Brand name Combos, was in good shape, some broken pieces in the bottom but still in good shape.
Mexican Chicken stew. Good hunks of chicken, great veggie pieces, was really impressed with how good it was. Had a little spice, included some of the Ground Red Pepper out of the Accessory pack and it kicked the spice level up about 3 notches.
Mixed Fruit....this is the only thing that did not seem to survive well, fruit was all mushy, a lot of it was falling apart, just did not have a good mouth feel. Compared to the basic canned mixed we are used to, this one did not seem to hold up.
No pics of the Reeses Pieces, or the coffee, that was my snack during a busy part of the show so could not pull back and snap. The coffee was the decent Type III, reeses pieces had held up well. Can't complain about either.
Next time I have this meal, I think I'm gonna crush up some of the Cheddar cheese pretzels in the stew, I think that would have really added a special something to it.

Dunno if pharmacies would have them, good question.
The ones I use are left over from when my wife had her PICC line in last year. She was constantly having to flush them when she did anything, so they kept sending us boxes of them. Its the same thing they use at the hospitals to flush IV lines, so if ya know any nurses..
