MRE Taste Test: 2002 TOTM - Minestrone Stew!
This is a 2002 Tailored Operational Training Meal (TOTM) I've had for a while. Time to see if it's still good.
Bottom line:
Minestrone stew was perfectly fine and quite tasty.
Pears were dark and partly fermented but still edible.
Orange beverage base powder was fine and tasted like a cross between Tang and Koolade.
Crackers were fine. Smelled fine, crispy and only a very slight old taste.
Grape jelly was runny but tasted fine.
M&Ms tasted like old M&Ms.

Thanks! I'm working on gathering more MRE pieces and parts to do more MRE reviews on my YT channel.
