One of the best entree's and yet they are cutting it from the 2019 menus. Why? Why can't the US have some plain good meat in a pouch like other countries? US Ration meat is pretty bad when compared to other countries.

Maybe tortillas would go well with the brisket. Like little MRE brisket tacos!

Hello sparkingdogg,
I am a newbie to MRE Rations. But I am learning and enjoying some fascinating ones to say the least this one as well.
As you can see my presentation is not up to par as yours is but this ration was just as tasty as your description has mentioned.

Brisket Menu #7 - Dated 2015
I found this at a local Army Navy store near me.The production date was 2015.
However not as fresh as yours was, the Bread component in this ration was a bit off and not edible for my taste.
However the Choco Chip cookie was very nice and a large size to boot.

The Peanut Butter ration was smooth and not separated and was packed as 1.5 oz. Tasty

Peanut and Jelly - 2015
The Beverage Base Lemonade was tasty and tart and very satisfying.
No coffee in this Ration as well, but a nice Irish Cream cappuccino powder, another tasy bit from this ration..

If I can find this Ration again I would certainly have it in my camping gear for my next meal and adventures.
