1995 Pork with Rice in Barbecue Sauce

Post by jubifahrer » Wed Mar 07, 2007 6:22 am

Yesterday i had a 1995 Pork with Rice in Barbecue Sauce.

When i opened it, i smelled the barbecue. i warmed it up, tasted a little bit and was very surprised of the good taste. So i eat it completly, it was very delicious.

Nearly 24 hours later i have or had no problems, no stomache or something else.

Brave man, jubi - thanks for the pics! I tried one of those MRE entrees a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty good. Have you also tried the "Meatballs, Beef and Rice, in Tomato Sauce"? That's another one that would be nice to still have around.

Don't say "no chance", Alter Mann. :-) Last year, I saw a case of the meatballs and rice entrees for sale on eBay. Unfortunately, it was from 1994 and they wanted something like $100 for it. I would have paid maybe $30, but not much more than that for 12 year old entrees.
