Current Menu 22, first documented review

Post by Conrad » Thu Jan 19, 2017 6:45 pm

So I'll start out with saying this one is interesting to me as I never got two spoons or two FRHs before, which I got in this.
.anyway it's menu 22 , Asian style beef strips with vegetables.

Contents:

-main entrée
-fried rice
-accessory pack B
-two spoons
-two FRHs
-Candy, toffee rolls chocolate flavour
-wheat snack bread
-blackberry jam
-chunky peanut butter
-cocoa beverage powder.

Review to be continued after I sample it. I'm home late and this is my dinner

So the main entrée and the rice were best when mixed together.
The cranberry grape drink was very sweet but still nice. An unusual taste compared to common drinks here.

The peanut butter and jam on the wheat snack bread were nice, as was the cocoa beverage.
I'm sorry I don't have a nice tray, the old fashioned enamel bowl will have to do for this one. I'll get a tray though.

This was a fairly pleasant MRE compared to some others I've had. Not as good as the southwest been and black beans which was my favourite so far but not as bad as the wornick packed beef taco which was very bland and artificial tasting.

Looks good. I still haven't tried it but have a couple of them.
The first to bring you the MRE pizza stone.

Yeah give it a try if you get a chance it's quite edible.

I do want to get a case A and case B and work through them all in order though
