MRE MARBLE POUND CAKE

Post by mreheater72 » Fri Apr 18, 2014 2:45 pm

Hi guys,

I have eaten a lot of MRE POUND CAKES over the last years, but I never have eaten the MARBLE one until today :) .

Here a photo review:

Closed pouch of MARBLE POUND CAKE made by PANGEA

Date code 7115: April 25, 2007

Opened pouch, beside the cake you can also see an oxygen absorber

Here the MARBLE POUND CAKE, as usual as most pound cakes broken into pieces :(

The inward of the cake, see the pattern that is the reason why it is called MARBLE :)

How did it taste? In my opinion a vanilla flavor dominates, the cake was fluffy but also as all MRE pound cakes a little bit dry, all in all seven points out of ten :) .

BTW: That was my post No. 1000 :D :D :D
