chicken and dumpling 8240 review with pictures

Post by bishopmarine » Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:59 pm

Hello all it has been a long time since I have posted on here. I have been very busy with work and my family. I recently moved some mre's up into the house, so I figured it was time to sample a new one I had not tried. This is just the entree not the entire meal that is being reviewed. My first impression was that it is dry. The flavor was great the texture was okay, but it was a bit dry. It was more of a chicken pot pie filling to me than chicken and dumplings. With that said when I was in the field back in the day I would have welcomed this entree in a heartbeat. My daughter really like it, my son was busy with his new dog, he took one bite gave me a thumbs up and ran off. I am posting some pictures of my recent little mre display that I just put up.
