Vegetable Curry

This entrée I thought was very curious as it stood out on The Epicenter’s menu as an overrun of meal made for the prisoners at the Guantánamo Bay Detention Facility. I figured, when ordering, “why not”. So when choosing a meal for dinner tonight I thought this would be excellent choice. Boy was I really surprised. The minute I opened the pouch I caught the wonderful aroma of curry and what also smelled like chicken broth. The actual meal is more like a thin stew with a lot of vegetables. I got the light taste of curry and another spice, which stood out but can’t place. The vegetables were plenty but very soft, and like I mentioned it looked like a thinned out stew. I had some WSB with cheese, as a side dish. For those of you looking for an excellent alternative to meals and still remain on the healthy side then this is it. The only draw back is that this is a limited meal on The Epicenter’s web site, so when they’re gone, they’re GONE! I don’t believe that the Epicenter will stock this one once it runs out. Price was reasonable for this one dish.

Whoops, sorry guys I forgot the pictures on this, :(

Housil,

My label said 18 grams of fat per serving. Though I'm not sure if that's per spoon or the entire dish?

First of all THX!!!!!! Image

18g is a lot of (too much for me). A MRE entree has less than 3g/100kcal, so I guess they replace the meet with fat to give it "any" energy in.

Nothing I can eat.
