Ravioli

Post by scrapie » Sun Jun 21, 2009 11:36 am

My 7 year old son found a new favorite...Ravioli! He loves using the FRH to heat it! I also find it to be quite good...a bit like canned ravioli (which I have always liked) with a better sauce. Not bad cold, but heating vastly improves it. Tabasco makes it just about perfect.

I think i'll have to try this one, im mostly addicted to the beef patty atm (anyone that buys off armyrations.co.uk and wonders why theres never none there, you know why ;D) , after all if your young un gives it the thumbs up, it must be good. :)
I came, I saw, I ate some rations then fell asleep amongst the clover.

The living proof that MREs are edible.
Kids will simply refuse eating anything that doesn't looke nice enough or tastes bad..

the beefpatties are nice, but not suitable as dinner in the field.. (to small :( why don't they make texan 12 lb MREs? but it's a very nice side dish.. especially when made into a hamburgerlike thingie)
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Yeah...I guess the two wheat snack breads are supposed to be a substantial part of the beef patty meal.
