FSR lunch

Post by Garron » Tue May 19, 2009 9:55 am

Hey Guys,

Didnt have long to leave before work on Sunday so I thought I was have a quick lunch, I've been slowly picking through my test FSR (I've kept one and tested the other) and figured I'd finish off the remaining parts. I had the Chicken, Tortillas and fat free mayo = Chicken wrap :D

The chicken was really good, I was expecting a reformed mush, this seem to have the texture of real chicken... Though it needed to be drained a little as there was some liquid at the bottom of the pack. I'd guess as its a Civilian brand the US members might have had it before.

I was somewhat weary of using the Mayo... being over a year old. It looked and tasted fine.

It was really good, quick and filling. I'd gladly make them again. One down one to go

Even one of my cats enjoyed the left over Chicken :D

You know it's a good lunch when even the cat will eat it!

The chicken pouch looks like a "Starkist "brand one. They have those new retorts packages of chicken, tuna, albacore and salmon.
Sometimes the tuna tastes like chicken...  and makes you wonder....

Also other company "Chicken of the sea" has them too but in green.
Peace!

If it´s "fat free" that should mean there is no oil in, a main ingredient of mayo. No oil = no spoil :D

The other main ingredient is eggs, which spoil easy.
It would be interesting to see how they do make it !

Regular mayo is mad from up to 80% oil, so oil is THE main ingredient of a mayo.

If this FSR mayo is fat free, how could it made from oil?! Oil = fat :?:

So the FSR fat free mayo should have no oil, isn´t it?! I doesn´t want to open my FSR bags just to look for the ingrediens
