Hi guys,

today once again my wife was at work that evening so I had to cook myself: I decided to take a BEEF PATTY GOULASH for dinner, the recipe I found here:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=572

Here is the recipe:

BEEF PATTY GOULASH
Ingredients:
1 – Beef Patty (heated)
1 – Cracker package
1 – Cheese package (heated)
1 – Bottle of Tabasco Sauce
1 – Package of salt

Directions:
1. Crumble Beef Patty.
2. Add cheese package and cracker with patty chunks and mix.
3. Add Tabasco sauce, salt to taste and enjoy.

Here are the photos:

I did not use the salt and the Tabasco, it was spicy enough without that ingredients.

The taste was fine :D , but it was a little bit dry (you can see that on the last photo). Perhaps that was because I didn’t use the gravy from the Beef Patty pouch. Will try that next time or simply will add some hot water.

I wonder if I am one of the only ones who wants to actually try these concoctions.

My family calls me "garbage guts" for good reasons.

As a side note, reading your review this morning made me buy my first bottle of tobasco sauce today. I love hot sauce but never bought tobasco for some reason. I usually have Louisiana hot sauce on hand.

Nice review, mreheater72. I was thinking that your concoction looked like it needed some water or something throw in. Maybe if you just mixed everything together in an entree pouch or in a bowl and added in some water, it would come out a little tastier.

And waldorfTM, no, you're not the only one. :-)

I might try that with a Pork Rib, Imitation, Boneless, and a Cheese spread w/Bacon. Also, how about adding a Hashbrowns w/Bacon. That might add some moisture to the mix. As for the salt, I don't get it. :?:

Sounds good! I guess it is a good idea to add the Hashbrowns or even Mashed Potatoes to increase moisture. In this regard perhaps it might be reasonable to use only one Cracker for the concoction instead of two: The Crackers draw fluid.
