CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 07 PRODUCTION PART 1

My wife was out with friends tonight so I decided to try an MRE and write a review. Now I know I am not as good as Housil doing this but I will try.
I decided on a 2007 Production Chicken and Dumplings. I have not eaten one before so I was looking forward to trying it and I had not seen another review about the meal in the Forums (unless I missed it).
I opened the pack and there was a box containg the Chickem and Dumplings, Bread, Grape Jelly, a Spice cake, Chocolate milk shake, accessory pack, beverage bag and a spoon. I used the heater to heat the meal and later placed the bread in the heater to warm it, something I learned early on with the bread. I mixed the shake as per the instructions and let it set for a few minutes before drinking.
I opened the Chicken and dumplings and I was surprised to see REAL CHICKEN and not some pressed and formed bits. The smell was great, there were pieces of carrott, peas and some bits of red peppers. The dumplings are soft but a bit chewy but an interesting texture and the taste is very good. The meal itself was excellent, the Chicken was very tasty and the sauce was almost as good as my mother made years ago!
I will do a part to review for this menu as we can only load 3 pictures at a time....to be continued!
