Pasta w/Marinara Sauce and Veggie Crumbles
Date Code: 8085
MFG: International Meals Supply
Reviewer Rating: 2.5 [out of 5 stars]

Over All Opinion: I assumed I would dislike this dish, being carnivorous I tend to avoid anything vegetarian. I was surprised, it was pretty good. The Veggie Crumbles had the texture of cooked ground beef. There was just enough fusilloni (corkscrew) pasta to balance out the sauce. I'll definitely eat this again.

Sides: Standard MRE-STAR sides - viewtopic.php?p=15873#15873

Final Thoughts: This morning when I packed my lunch I remember thinking what the heck are Veggie Crumbles. Upon inspecting the box I learned that it was likely coagulated vegetable protein, yumm.. Actually as bad as that sounds, it was pretty good.

Sorry no pictures of this meal.

German_EPA, no cat is describing one of the MREStar entrees that they created themselves - it's not the meatballs and marinara.

Cat - yum! There's nothing like seeing the words "crumbles" and "coagulated protein" in the description of an MRE. :-)
