Mexican Macaroni & Cheese

Post by housil » Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:54 am

As Mrs. Housil loves "hot stuff" (see me 8) ) she had a:

Mexican Macaroni & Cheese for dinner

very spicy and highly recommanded by her

For some reason, Mexican Macaroni was issued 2006 with Chicken Breast, but changed in 2007 to Beef Patty (instead of Western Beans).

Did you heat up that Mexican Macaroni and Cheese? I've tried it cold and it wasn't too good - but once I heated it up, it became more "cheesy" and tastier to eat.

Hmmmmm mexican macaroni&cheese :D :D :D with extra tabasco!
Bring it on, housil I know most Germans dont have spicy palates(like Poles as I have recently found out).
I just love Mexican food(been once as well as to restaurants here in London).
Had the MRE version once and liked it big time.
Some of the other Mexican style items are good in MRE's like black bean burrito, Jalapeno cheese and the enchilada isnt bad(although not authentic).
More the better.

Yep. After microwaving, the cheese was "melting" and became a "creamy" sauce. Delicious to Mrs. Housil expactations. She had crackers /w jalapeno cheese spread for dessert.

Eating it cold is okay, but rather clumpy in mind opinion. Better to zap it for a minute and have it warm, better flavour and consistency.
