1990 Vintage Chicken Stew MRE Review (Menu 3)

This is one of the most foul smelling MREs I've ever encountered. This, almost 33 year old, vintage brown bag Meal Ready to Eat was packed back in 1990. The chicken stew was certainly looking and smelling its age. I think the major issue with Menu 3 withstanding the test of time is the addition of cream cheese to the stew. Cheese just doesn't do well after more than 3 decades. I doubt this ration was that bad when it was in active US Military service. Maybe I can find another one someday that is a little less vomit-like.
