beef enchilada and western beans review

Post by bishopmarine » Wed Dec 12, 2007 11:09 am

ok so i finally got my new hard drive and got my laptop back up and running. now i can post pics. last night my son and i ate the beef enchilada and had western beans with it. i thought the enchilada was ok a little dry. tasted ok. not one of my mre favorites. the western beans were really good. sort of a bbq flavor. several different types of beans. the reaction on my sons face dont tell the whole story. it looks like he hated it. he actually really liked it. he ate more than i did. all in all im not a fan of the enchilada but the beans were good.

Nice pics - thanks for sharing.

Were those components from the same MRE? I haven't had a chance to check the menus but I didn't think they mixed the western beans with the Beef Enchilada.

But I'd agree with you on the dryness of that entree - it definitely needs some salsa!
