1982 Menu 4 Beef Slices in Barbecue Sauce

Well, that was a bad idea 
Everything form this MRE had a weird taste even the peanut butter, strange right? And believe it or not this was also the first time the crackers were not edible. They had a VERY bleachy smell but I did try them anyway
. Even the FD peaches had a stale aftertaste. The beef was thin and very much like jerky. I washed a piece of it off so you can see it. It was ok but left a little bit of a coating under my tongue. The chocolate covered cookie had a small sorbitol taste and the peanut butter did not help make it any better. Definitely gonna eat a newer ration tomorrow.
