I'm always down to eat a MRE older than me! This is a Vintage US Meal Ready To Eat Brown Bag ration from 1987. Unfortunately this one didn't hold up the best and taste testing that old disgusting cheese was a life changing experience. Even though this ration was showing its age I still enjoyed having the chance to review it!

Honestly this one is a great menu that i wish would return. Had one of these laying around that Steve sent so i decided to eat it now that i watched your video.
And man this one is good in my opinion, not cheap tasting and no mushy texture. Tomato sauce was great and beef amazing. It's up there with the older Beef stew and in my top 5 Us mre's.
I kept thinking i should stop eating it considering its over 30 years old but i just couldnt stop going back for it.
Hopefully it wasnt bad but i should figure that out soon.
Honestly it's kinda a shame what has happened to the mains i think. They used to be really good back in the pre 2000s. I guess i think that way because i hate mushy food
