Ok, so I have a box with older components, mostly brown bag stuff. I found these two cheese packs and thought🤔, wonder how they held up?

Got a bit concerned when kneading the packs they both started to delaminate, but I am no quiter 😁

They both had a very "Sharp" smell, which is fine by me, I love me some sharp cheese. The zombie 🧟‍♂️ color did not concern me but I could see how it would a non vintage cheese connoisseur.

Yep, sampled both. The 1985, the one on the left, was still edible, but had a bit of a metallic after taste and fairly gritty. If I were starving, heck yeah I woulda ate it all. The 1991 was nice and sharp and tasty. Glad I had another pack of vintage crackers 😉 Yes I ate the rest, and yes I have a problem.

Thanks for looking

Yeah I've learned to not get scared off by the pale/gritty looking cheese. Some of the aged spreads have been fantastic. Pungent is good!
