1983 Pork Patty (dehydrated)

finaly a bit older mre that i have big happy memories from back in the 80s :D :D

everything looking good, even the chocolate fudge smels nice and a Catsup that is still powder and not lumped.
i dont have big hopes for the cheese but im opening it just to check.

Hey Norge! I really miss this entree. Many fond memories of it when camping as a kid.

Yes, these FD patties were so new to us and I really loved that "catsup" with it

its a old BV 202, my oldest son bought it since he collect UK stuff used in norway and Falkand conflict and the Royal Marines used them.
no snow on the picture since it wad taken this autumn, but we stil have no snow just no green stuff on the trees :lol: and a lot of rain...

The BV206 is still in use in the Germany army mountaineers troops.

yep the BV 206 are stil in service in al branches in Norway, same for the US and UK forces.
but now you have the BV 206 Wiking S :D :D , love it tryed it last winter with the Royal Marines 8)

I remember one time when i was young, going on a BV206 round a very muddy track filled with water at a construction themed amusement park called "diggerland" very fun experience, the dual carriage style of the vehicle puzzeled me, especially as it had tracks :D.

As for the royal marines, they use the BVS10 Viking as well as the BV206. IIRC the 206 is used for Arctic and cold climate operations, the BVS10 Viking was used in afghanistan and is mainly used for beach landings as it is amphibious.
