MRE Component Review - CranApple Range Bar TFF

Post by GovtMule1960 » Mon Dec 09, 2019 10:27 pm

Being new to MRE and all it's reason for being I am finding them quite enjoyable. :P
Here is another MRE Component that I found at a local Army Navy Store.
The date on this component is 6302 and when I opened it boy there was a nice aroma of Apples and Cinnamon.

The bar was a bit crumbly but not damaged and still had it's shape .
This ration is certainly going to be in my pack.
It was sweet but not overly sweet and had moist cranberries thru out.
This bar also had small amount of nuts and gave it a nice crunch as well.
It is certainly a trail or portable snack that will satisfy any sweet tooth on the go. :P
This does pair nicely with a hot cup of Joe or Coco beverage.
I am glad to find snacks such as this in Rations that will help our troops enjoy a bit of sweetness.

Excellent writeup! I liked the one I had awhile back.
All the best, Gents.
