1997 Chicken patty!

Post by Enchilada » Wed Aug 08, 2007 7:39 pm

Had this yesterday,
you know what?
It was ten years old but it was as good as new.
The only spoiler was the apple jelly, which had leaked a little, hence the inside had turned bad.
The chicken was ok, the mexican rice was better then any I can remember.
Even the coffee was still fresh!
Very good surprise.

Yeah, 1997 isn't too bad - that's only ten years. I might have to break out some of my 1992 MREs to see how they've held up after 15 years.

You have to come to Germany

The FSR were issued at May for the US-troops in GER.

Read:

Soldiers in Germany recently tested out a new individual assault ration and a new no-fuss group ration big enough to feed two squads.[/i]
