MRE MEAL TODAY 1-16-05

fratomdev - so what was the Beef Steak with Mushroom Gravy entree like inside? I don't know if I've eaten one of those before. Is it one big beef patty with gravy or is it chunks and pieces of beef with gravy?

It should simply say that you are eating half of a cow! LOL! Your daughter and my daughter should get together and talk MREs. Mine loves the spaghetti and meatloaf. I have never tasted the sketti because she eats it up! The meatloaf I have tried and I should be shot for letting her eat it...YUCK!

Yesterday I ate parts of two different MREs. I ate the Beefsteak w/ Gravy and mushrooms from the 2004 menu. I ate the western beans that came with and then finished off some peanut butter and got an apple jelly packet that was left over from another MRE and had a cracker PB&J. All was delicious. My mom was over and so she ate the tootsie rolls that came in the bag. I also ate the beef sticks that came with the meal. I drank the enclosed lemon lime bev powder...yum aye!

A few hours later I ate a slice of wheat snack bread w/ cheese spread...CAN ANYONE SAY HEAVEN? I love that stuff. I drank a couple glasses of Coke with that.

A real winner of a day with my MREs yesterday. Thanks Uncle Sam and eBay!
