I'm the same, I think the US beverage powders tend to be way too sweet for my liking. I love the lighter, more natural tasting ones that are in the IRPs, ePAs, etc, but I tend to steer clear of the US ones and just drink water. I very rarely drink soda anymore (maybe once a month), and when I do, it's so overly sweet that I end up drinking 1/4 of the can / bottle at the most. I just had a raspberry and a peach beverage powder from an IRP that were very good, and the grapefruit drink from the ePA is certainly towards the top of my favorites list now.Ruleryak wrote:I'm the opposite. I don't drink soda, and haven't really had Kool Aid since I was young with any regularity, so I usually don't drink the normal beverage base powders. Too sweet. The carbo ones I save for when I'm camping/hiking/etc and drink those instead of buying Gatorade.

Re: Carbohydrate Electrolyte Beverage Powder Orange Flavor
I like the carbohydrate electrolyte beverage powder because it reminds me of Gatorade, a flavor I'm used to. The beverage base orange reminds me of McDonald's Hi-C as a kid. I will probably give away the sugar-free ones because I'm not a fan of aspartame.
Send me your electrolyte packets; I'll drink them!
