US MRE Review 2015 Menu 4 Spaghetti with Meat and Sauce - Taste Testing a True Ration Classic

Back to a standard MRE review. This one is Menu 4 from 2015, Spaghetti with Meat and Sauce. Spaghetti with Meat-Sauce is a classic menu in US military rations. American soldiers have been eating it in one form or another for in excess of half a century. I wasn't let down this time. The Spaghetti has that distinct retort pouch tomato sauce taste but that didn't do much to take away from the satisfactory flavor of this main. There is a hefty amount of meat in the sauce and the noodles are cut quite short to easily be scooped up with a spoon. The side items were all good; however, the snack crackers were turned to dust. The delicious MRE "Chocolate Milk" was a great addition to the meal.
