Menu #18 Beef Ravioli in Meat Sauce Review

Fresh MRE, 2017.
Beef Stick: have not been disappointed with any of these in all of the meals I have eaten so far.
White Wheat Bread: not bad but needed the cheese spread it came with. The cheese spread was really thick and hard to spread but tasted just fine.
Beef Ravioli: somewhat bland, but still palatable. I was impatient and ate it too soon before it was thoroughly heated so that may have been a factor.
Chocolate Banana Nut Cake: good, but didn't look like it.
Lemon Lime Drink: decent this time. I was disappointed with the drink in the last meal I reviewed but this one seemed better.
Instant Coffee: instant coffee.

For some reason I had a hard time opening everything this time. I had to use my knife to cut into all the packages. I don't know if it was the packaging or that fact that my hands were cold.
Also, I think this was a good meal for today, calorie dense on a cold day.

I always felt that the Ravioli needed more salt and pepper than I was willing to add to it. One of my least favorite entrees. But it's better than eating hardtack.
