Menu 8 Meatballs

Post by Jen » Wed Oct 31, 2018 1:06 pm

The meatballs were good but the salt helped them out quite a bit. The mashed potatoes were not good at first but I got "used" to them after several bites. The beef snack was good and like the last ration I had with them, they were as good as anything you'd get in the store. The bread was okay, but really needed the jalapeno cheese spread to make them more tolerable. The tropical drink that came with it was good, but not all of it dissolved and it was hard to wash the chunks out of my cup. The instant coffee was...instant coffee. I really liked the oatmeal cookie, but it was extremely dry. Suprisingly, it held up to shipping and was intact.

Howdy Jen,

Don't be afraid to toss some seasoning and spices on that stuff. Any flavor or enjoyment you can get out of a ration is pure magic.

Cheers

theres a reason hot sauce is included as a ration ingredient...and if you look thru most soldiers gear, you will find a lot of extra bottles included.
