Cheese Omlet

Post by thechip1 » Thu Jan 11, 2007 10:34 am

Wow, I don't know how anyone else feels, but that cheese omlet is scary bad! I was really hungry for some breakfast-like food, and I've been wanting to try this one for awhile. I just heated it up a few minutes ago (in the microwave to make sure it was fully warmed) and it is just not good. I'm going to have to be pretty hungry to try that one again.

Someone else here (Dangerous Dave?) likes that Cheese Omlet but me personally, I'm scared of it. :-) Out of this whole case of 2005 MREs that I have, that's the last one sitting in there. One of these days, I'll confront my fear and try it. Maybe I'll make it an Omlet-outing and also try that 1992 Ham Omelet I've been hiding away.

Cheese Omelet with Vegetables

Post by DangerousDave » Sat Jan 13, 2007 3:12 am

:D I ate one about 2 days ago. Drenched it with Lousiana.(The perfect Hot sauce). Yes!!! Absolute heavenly melt in the mouth eggs, and they need no refrigeration. I could eat about 3 of these a week for the rest of my life, but since I like eggs so much, I'm too busy making real omelets and such, most of the time. 8)
