Personally, I rather enjoy the vegetable crackers. They remind me of "Wheatsworth" crackers, and actually have a flavor to themselves unlike the plain ones--which are still fine for peanut butter, cheese or jam.
I'm using my computer's spare resources to help find cures for diseases, analyze astronomical data, render 3D animations, simulate new materials and run climate models--what is your computer doing? http://boinc.berkeley.edu/ Or ask me for help!

I want to say that 2011 was the first production year for them. Basically it's one pack with two slices of WSB that are the same size/shape, but half the thickness. I'm waiting for the day that they take over in general as far as the WSB is concerned. I'm with Olli though, they can't get rid of the regular crackers. Personally, the vegetable cracker is still my favorite bread item in MREs. I just really like the taste

Hair-FIN's review here has the "twin pack" I'm referring to

Don't get me wrong, I like the taste of the vegetable crackers, I just wish they were a bit sturdier...
