Hi guys,

today I had some SANTA FE RICE AND BEANS for supper , a MRE side dish that firstly appeared 2011 (in Menu 24). Here are some photos:

New pouches that can be opened horizontally, I wonder why they did not issue that pouches earlier

No to the taste: I was a little bit disappointed , the name of the side dish sounds auspicious, but the taste is only average. A little spicy with a pasty texture, ok but not particular.

It looks great to me (and it´s "low fat"). I like it if it´s not too spicy.

Man I bet that'd be killer with some tortillas and some kind of meat mixed into it.
