Chicken and Dumplings #22

Post by housil » Sat Dec 17, 2011 3:22 pm

Today I had for the first time a 2010 dish:

Yummi - Cinnamon Bun

I got peanuts butter and jelly but just one bread?!

Out of the pouch, my very first thought?

Huray - Chicken a la King is back Image

After nuking and some exploded peas...

...I got a great dish. Not this bland (saltless) with nice chicken. The dumplings reminded me to Italian "Gnocchi"

I kept the cinnamon bun for later

I guess they want you to make a Peanut butter and Jelly (+one piece of bread) sandwich!

Cool pics housil! I have been thinking lately about this but not sure if this is the right topic to put it under. I'm curious what you and people from UK and other countries represented in the forums think are the good and bad points of your countries' rations compared to American MREs. I'm not sure if this has ever been done in the board, but it would be interesting to get everyone's views on the subject. I'd also like to see what American members who have tried other countries rations think of them compared to ours.

Thanks for the review Housil

I enjoy this entree more than others, over here chicken and dumplings is a common comfort food.

Peanut butter is an everyday thing and used to be a budget food everyone could enjoy until recently (its getting more expensive)

If your looking for chicken ala king , try the chicken and noodles with vegetables from i think 08-09 production maybe before also.
