Another ration day

Post by housil » Sun Apr 26, 2009 3:19 pm

As Mrs. Housil and me were on another 12 hrs. shift today, I took some rations with me

After a continetal breakfast we had for lunch:

French (RCIR) made "Chicken Masala":

Chicken was well done, soft tissue. The rice was still a little bit to hard to me, but the same as the MRE side rice.

Mrs. Housil lunch, made from left overs:

and "pimped" with

from her dinner

Her dessert:

I had my favourit crakers w/ cheese & chocoa

Dinner:

While microwaving, we had to respond to a call so we had to warm it up a second time...

I really like that beef stew. I had the peaches with them. Nice mix of spicy beef and sweet fruit

Mrs. Housils burrito w/ picante sauce.

Next Thursday we will go camping until Sunday. Another 4 rations days :D

Ah....MRE Beef Stew. It tastes so good...but when you put it on a plate like that and shine the light of day on it, you can't quite tell if it's fresh out of a pouch or someone's stomach. :-)
