Menu C MRE's from MREDepot

Well I finally had the chance to try out one of my Menu C MRE's from MREDepot tonite. I had Menu # 7 Chicken with salsa. It was pretty darn good! I was excited to see just how well it would fill me up with all the extra snacks it comes with. But I was a little disappointed.

The menu says it comes with:
Chicken and salsa
Shortbread cookies
Crackers
Cheese Spread, Bacon
Cinnamon Scone Missing
Oatmeal Cookies
Nacho Cheese Pretzels
Raisins Missing
Tabasco Bottle, Green
Accessory Packet B Got Accessory Packet A
Spoon

As you can see there were two items totally missing from the meal. I won't lie I was kinda disappointed and now I am wondering what all the other 11 meals might be missing. I know I could open them all up to see, but I do not want to ruin the sealed packages just to see. I need to use them sparingly since it took quite sometime to save up enough money just to get these.

Has anyone else that has gotten these Menu C's from MREDepot or anywhere else had this happen to them? I checked their site and saw nothing that said that the menus may vary in contents. I don't mind a substitution of an item but to not even include two of the listed items seems kind of odd.

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.S. The meal was delicious and even my wife liked the taste. My 1 year old son even liked it. Got upset when we finished it.

I don't think it was posted here on the forums, but I exchanged some emails/PMs with another person who had a simliar experience with the Menu C MREs. He opened a few of them and their contents differed from the posted menus (on the negative side). I opened up some matching Menu Cs from the case I have and my contents matched up with the menus listings.

So I would guess that it might be a case that the newer Menu Cs had their contents changed in the latest production runs. If you have such a case and the contents don't match the menus listed on MREDepot.com's website here:

Then I'd call or email the company asking them what you should.

If it's just a matter of one component being swapped for another, that's not a problem. But if parts are completely missing, that's not good.

Well I sent off an email to MREDepot today and detailed my concerns wonder if I will get a response.
Tonite we went to my parents house for dinner and I opened my Dad's menu # 7 MRE from his case that he got from MREDepot and his was missing three items from the menu. I was pretty mad, fool me ok my mistake but I feel horrible that I talked my father into getting a case as well and it looks as though I may have made a big mistake on these Menu C MRE's.
