MilSpec Parmesan Chicken MRE Taste Test

Post by madcapmagician » Thu Jul 03, 2008 6:26 pm

Just tried a MilSpec Parmesan Chicken Mre I got on ebay. It's not too bad! It tastes a lot like the Regular cheese tortellini MRE. I would eat it again, but I was surprised it wasn't a whole chicken breast like in the grilled chicken mre's. The entree comes in a white box that is much thicker than a standard mre entree box. Here are the pic's so enjoy :D

I remember those - in fact, I still have some left in a case from way long ago. Those are the MREs from the original Wornick Mil-Spec civilian MREs. Looks like 1999 vintage, too. Cool stuff...this one of the first MREs I tried.

Thanks for the review. Haven't seen any of those around these parts. How'd the rest of the compenents fare?

If the date on the ACC pack follows standard MRE dating, then yea, MFG'd approx May 99
