Hi All,

Picked up 5 MRE's at a local flea market and to my surprise they were the tan components and I think the date is 1997. Are these civilian meals?

I was hoping to find a FD Fruit bar, but ate the crackers instead.

They look almost like repacked MREs, judging by the commercial spork and odd components

I thought that too. I have checked the seal and they look good. I opened another and it had a cookie in it.

The seal can't be good because the main doesn't match the menu ,and the accessory pack is civilian.

Also the years of the other components are totally different from each other.
