Yum - 2 gallons (8 liters) of Grape Drink! Add a little vodka in there and we'd have a party. :-)

Hey now, wait a minute. I've got three boxes of those drink mixes. One box of grape, one box of orange and one box of fruit punch. We used them a lot with our Scout troop. One pack makes one of those big Igloo coolers full of (insert flavor) drink. They work great. We got them from one of our adult leaders that worked at one of the military dining facilities. Once something was issued for a field problem, it could not be returned into the dining facility. It had to be destroyed or disposed of. He hated all the waste after field exercises and began saving items for the troop. It didn't cost the military anything as it was going to be discarded anyway; and, it saved our troop a lot of money.

Do you think it's wierd because he's paying too much for it?
There are always many people pay too much for stuff on eBay all the time. Some people are even addicted to eBay. I've often seen retail vendors regularly charge more for the Buy It Now items once you factor in shipping than they charge for the same items on their own web sites (again with shipping factored in.)

I'd hate to be the person that has to break the news to the "winning" buyer as to how much a pouch or container of Kool-Aid or Wyler's costs.

You mean my screen name didn't give me away?
I just picked up some Wyler's light a few weeks ago in sticks. I wasn't aware that they were only making sugar-free mixes now.
As I recall I think they were still making the sugared mixes back in the mid-80's but I haven't really looked for it since then.

It looks like the Wyler's name was sold to Jel-Sert from Lipton's in the 90's. Jel-Sert used to make a similar product called Flavor-Aid, but I guess it got a bad rep after it was used in an incident in Guyana in 1978.
