Favorite LRP/RCW main?
What's you guy's favorite main from these rations? Especially the vintage ones?
Likes coffee, rations, and cheese. Will probably print things for coffee.
Re: Favorite LRP/RCW main?
My favorite RCW main would be the chicken ala king, the noodles with gravy and veggies make it very wholesome

Beef Stew for sure, it was amazing in my 1989 RAFCO RCW and it is still fantastic in modern LRPs and MCWs.

I ate my last LRRP (as it was called back then) in early 1971. So it's hardly relevant to comment today. The one most prominent memory, though, is of a chili meal that I didn't let hydrate long enough. It deserved the description of "mud and rocks" because the beans were still hard. Can't imagine eating that one dry, but it is supposedly okay to do so.

I've heard how good the Chicken Stew is from the 70's-80's LRP's, tried to get one and it was good anymore sadly
.
My favorite so far that i've tried personally is the Beef Straganoff.

My favorite is Sweet & Sour Pork. Last ones i know of were in 05 MCWs. Chicken Stew and Beef Stew are tied for 2nd.
