Favorite MRE menu

Post by Jared_St » Mon Aug 20, 2018 2:30 pm

To help get my mind off things, what's y'all's favorite MRE menu/entree? I'm always tied between the chili and the bbq rib patty.
Likes coffee, rations, and cheese. Will probably print things for coffee.

My Favorite MRE would be the Meatballs in marinara sauce one, love the italian breadsticks, gives a nice herb flavor to the MRE.

Nice! And me and my fiancee recently got to try those Italian bread sticks and we both loved them. Almost had to find a way to get more just for her too. XD

My favourite one so far is elbow macaroni in tomato sauce.
Tried lots of foreign rations from Europe and Northern America. Want to try Asian and South American rations

I'm a sucker for Tuna but since that is mostly a commercial product, I almost feel like that's cheating. Southwest beef and black beans is probably next on the list. The chicken pesto I found is highly divisive. Some people love it but my wife, who used to sample MREs with me, did not do well with it and now refuses to even look at any US MRE. Until that point, her favorite was also Southwest Beef and Beans.

I'd consider Tuna fair play, it's good. XD And yeah, I can see how the chicken pesto is so divided, I did like it but admittedly I'm also a bit of a vacuum with food.
