What Are These?

I've never seen MRE's packaged like this - Any one know what they are?

Those look like some of the earlier versions of the Wornick "Mil-Spec" civilian MREs. Here's a link to the old page for the Wornick Mil-Specs:

but the pictures you see there are of the 1999-2000 versions. These must be from earlier than that.
