I am in Australia and found this P-38 can opener amongst my stuff. I note that it is stamped with the maker's name 'T K G'. Can anyone identify this manufacturer and perhaps date the P-38 to a particular conflict eg WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War.

Only thing I could find searching the web was this. Not sure what T. K. G. stands for. Hope it helps a little. If I come across more info I'll let you know. Take care.

Thanks for the reply and extensive research on the mystery P-38. It seems that it is probably not a US made item.
