just not even 2 minutes ago, I saw an mre on lost! they were dumping out the backpack, and one of the things was a sattelite phone, one is a book and a picture, and one is a civvie mre that looks like it could be a sure-pak 12 mre.

but no, my eyes are not playing tricks on me. I have an hd 1080i signal on my 40" lcd. That WAS an mre!

Nice catch, mxjf. I was just watching that same episode and saw them dump out the backpack but completely missed the MRE. I'll have to grab a copy of the episode and check it out a little closer.

well, the latest episodes are not available to the French public on ABC site, we have either to cheat on our IP addresses (and I'm not good at hacking!) or to find it on emule/shareaza, etc.
The official solution is "wait one year til the season 3 arrives in France"

ok, I will get the image when I get home, but it looks like it's an ameriqual entree box inside some kind of clear bag. You can sort of make out the ameriqual logo on the box. That's a lot easier in hi-def though.

I also have the episode on my home computer, so I am either going to take a screenshot, or cut the mre part out. BTW, kman, is there a way to attatch short mpeg4's to posts, or is it still just images for now?

There's not any fcc or government people on this board, are there? if so, i might be able to pm each of you guys a link to download the ep., in mpeg4 format, on my server. If I do, I will ask that you only download it once, because I'm not made of bandwidth.

mxjf, no, you can't attach any movies to posts here (just images) but you could probably upload it to http://www.youtube.com and post the link here.

And no, I don't think there are any fcc people on this board but you still don't want to advertise that stuff too much - after all, this forum is indexed and cached by google and made available to the rest of the world.
