Information about MRE pizza

So i few months i found out that the US has developed some pizza MRE, i think it's a really good idea but it seems that they stopped producing it.
Can someone please tell me why there is no more MRE pizza ?

They are producing it, the release was just postponed till next year because they have problems with the shelf stability of the Pizza.
The Norwegian Ration has the pizza in it though.

If you want to try to Freeze-Dry a slice of 'Ellios', try the new home freeze-dryer, available in the US, for a mere $4000. Good for large families.

The US could have long ago developed a pizza mre. I've been asking for it since my service in the 80's....

Unfortunately not, in the Norwegian rations it is a 20% chance (my guess) that you get a pizza more often you get a cinnamon bun.
I had 2 Norwegians and in both i got unlucky and got only an cinnamon bun.

If I remember right, it was about taste testing.
