So in my search for all foods MRE/Camping/emergency etc I ran across an FRH that says uses any liquid. Bold bold claim. So whats the wierdest way you've ever heated up an MRE? I used beer and made one hell of a mess but it did work.

In a US-issue FRH, only water. As I usually eat my MRE/TOTM while fishing, I just scoop up a little lake water, add some salt if it's an older FRH and pour that in. In theory, any water-based liquid would work. Urine would be ideal, but who'd want to eat the food afterward? (That assumes you're one who still puts the food packet inside the FRH. I quit doing that a while ago.)
The "any liquid" FRH that's advertised is pretty misleading. Gasoline, motor oil, and even mercury are liquids, but who'd dump them into an FRH? And I sure as heck wouldn't waste any of my booze that way, either.

yeah I figure oils would be right out. I have 2 more to review so I think the next one is going be done with soy sauce. Wonder if all the salt will kick it in high gear.

Cute, but the clear intent of the "any liquid" claim is to not waste any of your precious potables.

I guess the intent is to ask what liquids we've used in an FRH, but I'll extend this a bit.
I've heated them in a panini maker, next to an electric space heater, in a coffee pot full of hot water, and with a propane torch.
I'm sure some of you have better methods than this.

I have used coffee and it works well. I like to use my truck defroster most of the time in the winter.

lol, coffee would be an apt choice for me. Can't drink the stuff with my meds.
