Walmart recently had on their website Emergency Essentials One Week Food Supply, 74 pc for $67 which was a pretty good deal for 21 entrees and a boatload of sides, crackers, breads, and spreads.
I ordered one box to test and now notice that same product is out of stock and now costs $127.
They also have Emergency Essentials Improved MRE 72-Hour Food and Water Supply, 70 pc for $44 - which seems to be less of a good deal because it only has 9 entrees.
In the box I received, the oldest entrees/sides were 2015 production and the newest (breads, cakes) were 2016 production.
- Vegetarian Taco Pasta
- Grilled Jalapeno Pepper Jack flavoredBeef Patty
- Hash Brown Potatoes with Bacon, Peppers and Onions
- Black Beans in a Seasoned Sauce
- Sante Fe Style Rice and Beans
- Au Gratin Potatoes
- Marinara Sauce with Meatballs
- Chicken Pesto Pasta
- Chili and Macaroni
Cakes, all of them! and Brownies and crackers.
If you order, pay attention to see if it's a 2nd party retailer as that may impact your delivery times.
