They are from 2005 and are now in that place since 11 years under uncontrolled conditions

I would tend to believe that most of these MRE's are beyond heat stressed by now! I don't know if you have ever been to New Orleans but man it gets nasty and humid down there sometimes during summer!

I usually work there 3-4 times a summer and that heat is unbearable and with the 90% humidity I can just imagine. And there's no way there stored in the basement of the building with the water table and all. One would think rats and stuff would be an issue?

German EPa's with Mfg. date codes of 2009, are still just fine, to eat in 2017. The India-Curry-Rice with hackfleische patties was excellent. Packed 2009. Boiled the meal, unopened, in water, for 10 minutes. Excellent-Yummy, and fills up any fat man, for 6 hours.
