Peanut Butter vs Cheese Spread

Which one is your favorite? I prefer peanut butter over cheese spread. Not just because of the taste, but because it has a much longer shelf life than cheese spread. It's also healthier for you.

As a relative rookie for MREs, I have to say I've only tried PB - and it didnt have such a good taste or texture. Looking forward to trying some cheese spread

You're in the UK yeah? So like me, in Ireland you'll be used to real, actual cheese. The MRE cheese spread is VERY artificial but can be enjoyed in context. My favourite is the jalapeño flavour.

As for which I prefer between the two.
It depends on the context , if there's a suitable meaty entrée like beef ravioli or chili with beans , or anything involving tortillas I like to add some cheese spread
Sometimes, specially if I'm eating an MRE early in the day I've found I prefer the PB , never actually had peanut butter and jelly until I started testing out MREs and now I love it.

It has to be said I'm not a massive fan of cheese to begin with - I can only tolerate hard, mature cheeses.

In germany we have a fable for nice "aromatic" cheeses like tilsiter
At least in the northern part

Cheese spread FTW. I like all kinds of cheese beside casu marzu or any kind of moldy cheese.

I prefer Canadian IMP peanut butter to MRE peanut butter.... but if that's not an option I'd take MRE cheese spread with bacon or jalapeño any day.

I tend to prefer the cheese spread over the peanut butter.
