Bring it on! I think tuna is excellent for field rations. I still miss the old tuna C-Rat.

Still, why tortillas? Is there anyone in the world who makes tuna sammiches on a tortilla?

Well..

I guess by anywhere in the world you mean Texas. Sometimes you run out of bread... and torillas are just mexican flat bread, ya dig?

Probably because they are light weight and have a long shelf life. Plus they make the whole process less messier. I know these are the reasons NASA uses tortillas on space flights.

Obviously (to me, anyway), I was joking with my crack about totillas.

I can see that tortillas are already on the MRE production line, and will serve well in a tuna salad wrap.

Just saying that not including bread instead is an interesting choice by Natick.

Well, Tuna w/ Noodles sucked back in the late 80's, but maybe Starkist pouches of white fish meat are better. Hopefully, it's Albacore. I can handle it. If Lewis and Clark and crew ate that much pounded salmon, I guess a tuna fillet would be a nice change.

Gonna give that one to the wife I think :)

Hang on a mo'....Mayonaise with a 10 year shelf life?!...That's gonna taste/look/feel like silicone bathroom sealant (caulk I think you US dudes call it)
