Oh my gosh, that looks amazing. Count me in, I wanna come to Germany and get a tray of UGR food!! You got quite the amazing score there, Housil. :D

I could have gotten one of those earlier this year but missed it and someone else bought it. Was only $350 too!

Amazing find!

Cool find! You got one of my favorite breakfast menus - as the steaks from that UGR are actually pretty good, unless they changed them. The eggs are the boil in bag type. Sadly though the oatmeal is not good, it tastes like oats in corn syrup sugar water. The golden harvest cake is also ok but not great, like your standard UGR cake but more "wheat" tasting.

The steaks are really good if you add peppers and onions to them and heat everything together in a skillet.

You are the MAN! :D 8)

I don't know if I could ever be so fortunate to find such a good deal on those. Heck, I think I had to pay like $35 for each of the UGR cakes I enjoyed earlier this year.

Would pay someone even more for an old T-Ration Coffee Cake - that is one of the dream Rations - it would be a wonderful coupling with a Coffee Instant, Type 1.
One of these days I shall find one and hopefully it still holds up. Really shouldn't pay so much $ for Rations, but it seems to me more times than not the only way I can locate them! :(

Housil, that's an awesome thing. I would love to try everything listed. Great pics and review.

Yeah, the market over here has exploded. Things you could get for a decent price have shot thru the roof.

MCW, for example. I bought some last year, paid $50 including shipping for 4. Right now on Ebay they have them between $16-$25 each, plus shipping. FSR's are averaging $25 each, and the MORE's are still stuck at $20. And that's when you can find them.

And the Ration heaters Parafireboy was talking about in a previous post. I watched one go for $19.95, bid on the next one and was sniped at the last minute. Now the bids are at or north of $25 and still have 5+ days to go. It seems like once something sells, people post more at a higher price.

Could have something to do with the time of year. Prices could change at or around tax refund time.

Great find Housil! Those are quite expensive when (if) you can find them in the states. Those are really great being self-contained with all of the necessary serving items packaged with it. Very cool!

elandil is right, the market is kind of crazy nowadays here. I just finally got a FSR for my collection off of eBay, for $25. Others I had looked at previously were going for more. I finally got a MCW as well, which I still ended up paying $25 for. It's crazy. I can remember seeing HDRs on eBay years ago (and silly me, I didn't buy one at the time), and now they can't be found on eBay, at least since I've been looking in the past year. Still, you never know what will pop up on there, so it keeps me coming back to browse, even though it's deadly to my bank account.

Have a good week everyone!

Wow! Guess you are all set for the first week or two of the zombie apocalypse lol. That has been something I've always been interested in seeing. Thanks for the great pics.

Cheers
