Subcontractor List?

Whole MREs have their advantages, but it can be nice to get the individual components. Can anyone really have too many cheese filled pretzels? 
I notice that the components generally have the vendor name printed on the package - for example, Sterling Bakery in San Antonio, Texas.
Would it be worthwhile to start compiling a list of vendors, along with contact information and sale-to-individual policies?
